If you can Receive e-mails and can not send e-mails, go to step 9. (Mostly for Dial Up connections and DSL)

Go back to step one and repeat these steps for every account you want to set up on your computer.

Step 9

If you can receive e-mails, but are unable to send, your ISP is one that blocks access to their SMTP server. In this case, you need to contact your ISP and find out the name of their SMTP server. Enter this information in the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) field. Go to Tools then click on E-mail Accounts, click the account you just created then click change. Click the "More Settings" button.

Step 10 Click the Outgoing Mail Server tab and click the "Log on Using" and put in the User Name and password from your ISP. Click send and receive to test.
